This week we turn the spotlight on Kelvin and Elle, a duo known for their clean footwork, cheeky banter, and occasional on-court chaos.
🏃♂️🏋️♀️ What do you do outside of pickleball, and how did you get into the game?
Running and gym! When we first arrived in Singapore, we were looking for things to do and stumbled upon a Meetup pickleball group. Hooked ever since.
🇬🇧 What’s something surprising about you that most people in the group wouldn’t know?
We’re from Scotland—which probably explains why half the time people have no idea what we’re saying.
👀 Most ridiculous moment on court?
Someone once told us mid-match: “USE YOUR EYES!” …right after we completely whiffed a shot. Still haunts us.
🎬 Dream celebrity doubles partner?
Bruce Lee – purely to see if nunchuck skills work with a paddle. (Imagine the wrist flicks.)
🍊 Go-to ritual or reward?
Ijooz! Sweet juice = sweet victory.

The Pickleball Social Crew hosted their second Beginner Tournament and let’s just say Singapore’s newbies have hands. Soft dinks, sharp smashes, and a ton of game-face energy.

PickleSlam 2025 is set to be Singapore's premier outdoor pickleball tournament, organized by PickleGo. The event is scheduled to take place over two weekends: May 17–18 and May 24–25, 2025, at the Delta Sports Centre, located at 900 Tiong Bahru Road.
It will feature the following categories: Men’s Doubles (19+, 35+, and 50+), Women’s Doubles (19+, 35+, and 50+), Mixed Doubles (19+, 35+, and 50+), Men’s Singles (19+, 35+, and 50+), and Women’s Singles (19+). There will also be a Team Event.
