Mark your calendars: June 29, 2025, the day PSC went public.
We hit GastroBeats in full force, and let’s just say… the only thing hotter than the truffle fries was the drip on display. There were PSC shirts. There were cocktails. There was paddle talk next to food trucks. We even saw someone side-shuffling while holding a bubble tea.
This was our first big community outing, and it won’t be the last. Big shoutout to everyone who showed up, danced, snacked, and laughed your way through it. Y’all cleaned up real nice.

Is Pickleball Making Us Fitter… or Just Louder?
Let’s start with the facts: pickleball is a great way to get moving, stay active, and build community. It’s low impact, accessible, and burns calories — especially during longer, high-intensity rallies. According to Pickleball.com, it absolutely helps with cardiovascular health and coordination. So yes, it’s more than just fun and games.
But let’s be real — lately it feels like half the workout is just dodging unsolicited coaching tips.
“Paddle too high.”
“Too much wrist.”
“Your body’s not square.”
“Your vibes are off.” (ok that one might’ve been valid)
Ever since someone did one drill with Mark or watched a single slow-mo YouTube breakdown, the sidelines have been louder than the rallies. It’s giving coach cosplay.
Friendly reminder: not every miss is a teachable moment. Sometimes we just want to play, sweat, and shout “aiyah” in peace.
So yes, play to get fit. Play to improve. But also, play to laugh. Play to whack the ball into the net 3 times in a row and still walk away with a smile.
When you have a sport that is easy to pick up and enjoyable at any level, you’re more likely to want to play with your friends or even strangers. This makes it easier to build a community like ours, keeping players coming back for both the dinks and the company.
Regardless of what keeps you coming back, we’re happy to have you here, whether you’re cheating on tennis or not 😜🎾
